Circle's for Fridays 20-21

Welcome to public circle in the Stewart Tradition 2020-21

We have all been navigating uncharted waters and now we would like to get back to circle basics, with the intention of adding energy and focus to our rites and rituals.

We will be zooming circles Until Spring. (form the Annex for as much as possible) - please call the shop to get your zoom invitation or you can join the e-ssembly on FB

Here are some important guidelines for this coming turn of the Wheel, which we need you to take very seriously.

1 - We need to know if you are attending circle –If you don’t let us know by Thursday night (8pm closing) – we will assume you are not attending at all that week, and you will not have a space, as it will be given to an alternate on the waiting list. We
If you don’t let us know you are zooming, you will not be let in.


2- In Spring assuming we can gather in person as well as Zoom. If you are zooming, (the computer will be placed in the east bench area) and you will be treated as if you were seated there in person, for as much as is possible. We ask that you show us the same courtesy – meaning you should be prepared to give us your undivided attention form 6:55pm until the circle ends. This means you should show your face for the entire time, unless your connection will only allow audio. You should be prepared to stay focused on the circle just as if you were here in person. No leaving your sacred space to go to the bathroom or attend to the mundane. Follow all in person circle guidelines. Treat the circle as if you were there, because you are. If you do not have an uninterrupted space to zoom from or you cannot stay focused for the 2 hours, it might be a better idea to come in person or not at all. If you know you have internet issues be sure to sign on early, we will not be letting in late comers it’s not fair to the people who are there on time.

3- All Circles will be presented from the Stewart Tradition and we ask that you learn the basic calls and flow of the circle in order to allow for the experience to be the best it can be for everyone.
When being smudged in, please respond “thank you brother or sister”
When being asperged please chant with the group “ As above, so below. As within, so without. As the universe so the soul.”

Again in bad weather we will be zooming rather than forfeiting a circle. And once we can gather in person more regularly we will still zoom 1x per month for those that cannot attend in person gatherings.
