Garden harvest 2026

Lughnasadh has come and gone and the garden is going wild. Way too many courgettes as usual, a good crop of calendula and the first proper year for my elder bush. Planning on elderberry syrup for the winter.

How are everyone else's gardens doing?

The tomatoes were a disaster this year but the herbs did great - more mugwort and lemon balm than I know what to do with. Drying bundles in the kitchen as we speak.

Apartment balcony gardener here: three pots of basil and one very determined rosemary. It counts!
